A few things to know which you may already know but I needed a reminder on!
A lot of light - not direct sunlight though
Do not let them freeze - the shed may not be the best place if we have another cold snap
Not too warm - not in the house by the radiator either
Plant end of March - we still have a while before the hard work begins!
Plant as deep as you can
Better a short sturdy shoot than a long straggly one
Only leave 3 shoots per potato
Plant shoot side up
I know a number of people who used tubs for growing their potatoes and were very successful. I'm thinking I might try one and see how I do.
